Corinda Hall

Corinda is a Pilates teacher fuelled by passion for moving the body, compassion for nurturing the soul, and adventures for the heart, mind and spirit. Pilates was the next natural step into instructing for Corinda, aiding and healing the body after many years of teaching a variety of dance styles.

She teaches mat Pilates classes, which strengthen the body’s ‘core’ (deep) abdominals, lower back, pelvic floor and glutes, known as the ‘powerhouse’. The exercises used integrate the whole body, increasing the range of motion for the joints whilst connecting the mind to the breath for control, all to increase energy, circulation, and suppleness. Joy Rose

Yoga Teacher

Joy has always been fascinated with health and healing. She originally trained as a nurse, but her passion for keeping fit and healthy led her to train as a group exercise instructor in 1988, and then as a gym instructor and personal trainer. She has also studied nutrition and massage to compliment this.

Joy came to Yoga by chance after seeing the excellent results her clients had when she implemented aspects of it into their training programs, however, it was only when she was experiencing health problems of her own that she began to study Yoga and meditation seriously, and decided to complete her teacher training.

Joy's passion has expanded from there to complete her advanced training, and deepen her knowledge and practice all around the world with a variety of renowned teachers, including Swami Ambikananda (traditional yoga), and Nikki Slade (Kirtan), as well as studying Ashtanga in India.

Yoga for Joy has been the thread that has always been at the heart of everything. Especially meditation and sound work, and she has been fortunate enough to be able to use her passion to support children and adults effected by addiction, depression, anxiety and bereavement.

Joy likes to draw from all of these teachings and trainings to help inspire and support people on their own unique healing journeys.
